The Gathering Room is located in the southern end of the Plantation Home. It is the entertainment center of the Mansion and is embellished with luxury, warmth and comfort. It has a large, stone, wood-burning fireplace, a heavy wood-beamed ceiling w/recessed lighting, hard-wood flooring, a small library of books, a small wet bar, and a large, flat-panel plasma screen w/surround sound DVD/CD player, and cable TV. It is attached to the kitchen, the Sunroom and two large, outside decks. Sit anywhere you'd like on two full-size leather sofas, several leather chairs and several more upholstered chairs. Watch TV, listen to your favorite CD, read the paper--whatever you favorite pastime may be. End tables and coffee tables abound for your things. This is one very comfortable and luxurious room.
